Choosing Track Lights for Your Home
Track lights are mounted on a rail fixed to your ceiling, so no false ceiling is needed. Each light can slide along the rail and be angled to point exactly where you need it, which makes track lighting a flexible choice for living rooms, dining areas, kitchens and feature walls.
Normal or magnetic track? Our normal track lights use replaceable GU10 bulbs and come in many styles, from Ring, Circa and Canister to Long Tube and natural wood designs. Our magnetic track lights use the slim M20 system, where each light simply snaps onto the rail, and you can mix spotlights and linear diffusers on the same track. The magnetic track also comes in a recessed version that sits flush in a false ceiling.
Planning your layout. Most homes run the track along the length of the room, or in front of a feature wall, then aim the spotlights at the areas that matter most, such as the dining table, artwork or TV wall. Share your room size with us and we will help you plan the track length and how many lights you need.
Colour temperature. GU10 track lights can take bulbs from 2700K warm white to 6500K daylight, and you can change the bulb later if you want a different feel. The Focus Mini comes with a built-in LED in 3000K, 4000K or 6500K.

Track Light FAQs
Can track lights be installed on a concrete ceiling?
Yes. The track rail mounts directly onto your ceiling, so no false ceiling is needed. That makes track lights a popular choice for HDB flats with concrete ceilings. If you do have a false ceiling, our magnetic track lights also come in a recessed version that sits flush within the ceiling.
Can I move or add spotlights later?
Yes, that's the best part of track lighting. Each spotlight slides along the rail and can be turned to point where you need it. You can also add more spotlights later as your layout changes.
What's the difference between normal and magnetic track lights?
Normal track lights use a standard mains-voltage rail with individual spotlights, usually with replaceable GU10 bulbs.
Our magnetic track lights use the M20 system, a slim 20mm rail that runs on safe 48V low-voltage power. Each light snaps onto the rail with built-in magnets, so you can add, remove or move lights by hand without tools or rewiring. You can mix different light modules on the same rail, such as spotlights and linear diffusers, and the rail can be recessed flush into a false ceiling, mounted on the ceiling surface, or suspended. The lights use high-efficiency OSRAM LED chips, and Tuya smart control is available so you can dim and adjust your lights from your phone.
Are the bulbs replaceable?
Most of our track lights use replaceable GU10 bulbs in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or 6500K, so they're easy to change yourself. The Focus Mini and Magnetic Diffuser have built-in LEDs to provide you with better colour quality and higher lumens.
Which rooms are track lights good for?
Living rooms, dining areas, kitchens and feature walls. They're great for highlighting artwork or shelves.
Do you provide warranty and installation?
Yes, 24 months 1-to-1 store exchange warranty. We don't provide installation, so your electrician will install them.
